In 1990, Flocs de Gascogne obtained the status of Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) certifying that Flocs de Gascogne come from a well-defined production area and that their production meets the strict specification criteria. The year of 2017 sees an exciting new step for Flocs de Gascogne as it is the year that the winegrowers have decided to refer to Floc de Gascogne as Flocs de Gascogne in the plural, as there is such diversity in the variety of tastes to discover among the 150 Flocs produced in Gascony.
